SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (G6)

This position is located in the Army National Guard ARNG, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics/G4 (DCSLOG/G4), Distribution Management Division, supply and Services Branch. Its purpose is to plan, organize, direct, coordinate and manage all command supply and services functions. --Plans, organizes and manages supply and services functions to include command equipment/property readiness/accountability management. --Advises the DOL Logistics Management Officer (LMO) on command supply and services status and recommends support required for current and proposed operations. --Maintains current command supply analysis on trends of effectiveness and efficiency. --Receives fiscal information from each subordinate function to prepare and review budget estimates for the command supply and services functions. --Monitors required unit equipment inventories and is active in the development, scheduling and execution of special command physical inventories. --Monitors unit DODAAC submissions. --Performs other duties as assigned. Experience:

Must have at least 36 months experience, education, or training supervising and/or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions. Knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system. Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
