IT Project Manager

General Purpose of Job:
The Information Technology Project Manager I is responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring and implementing IT projects to meet organizational goals. The Project Manager is responsible for entire projects or phases of a large project and drives projects in order to meet larger organizational goals.
Essential Duties:
This job description is intended to cover the minimum essential duties assigned on a regular basis. Caregivers may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by their leader. Leadership has the right to alter or modify the duties of the position.
Manage multiple IT projects from start to finish.
Oversee project deliverable completion throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitors project process, scope, schedule, tasks, issues, risks, quality and resources and provides regular, detailed project status reports to key project stakeholders.
Partner with the PMO and project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget.
Instill quality assurance (QA) measures throughout the life cycle of the project.
Coordinates with PMO and Facilities Development teams to ensure project interdependencies are identified, communicated and managed
Participates in project review meetings with PMO and project stakeholders
Collaborate with all members of the PMO to maintain and update the PMO toolset (i.e., templates, procedures, policies).
Chair and facilitate efficient and productive project meetings.
Contribute to the continuous process improvement objectives within the PMO.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Upon request, candidates must complete and pass analytic skills assessment in order to be considered for position.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, management, computer science, information technology or related business, technical or analytic field.
Experience:
Minimum one year of relevant work experience (IT, Clinical, finance, etc)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Preferred:
CAPM Certification
One or more years' experience in healthcare
One or more years' experience managing information technology projects
Knowledge of hospital care delivery, ancillary, support and financial processes
Knowledge of project management discipline
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies and tools
Knowledge of Change Management methodology

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
