Project Manager - Operations

Job Purpose
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, organizing and leading projects which include system implementations and enhancements, business process changes, and organization restructures. The Project Manager will utilize technical and/or business process knowledge and experience in order to effectively influence the execution of projects. They will work closely with the project team including management/sponsors, key stakeholders, IT and other subject matter experts, and Project Coordinators who report directly to the Project Manager to plan, direct, coordinate, and report on projects from the proposal initiation to final operational stage. The Project Manager is also responsible for ensuring that the project management system and reporting is up to date and accurately portrays the status of projects.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Consults with, advises, and directs cross-functional teams to define, launch and drive strategic business initiatives through entire project lifecycle, ensuring that all technical, regulatory, process, financial and timing requirements are met or exceeded.
Develops complex project plans which identify key issues, problems, approaches, performance metrics and resources required, and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Creates, manages, and tracks project schedules, including tracking dependencies, deadlines, and other information that may impact delivery or quality of project.
Directly manages Project Coordinators and administers personnel actions to include hiring, performance management, development, corrective actions, and terminations.
Communicates with and advises the management team of project status including intra- and inter-project dependencies and realistic timelines for completion.
Works with team members and serves as a facilitator to understand problems, recommend solutions, and escalate problems as necessary.
Effectively engages in Jackson's System Development Methodology; applies SDM standard tools and practices to all types of projects (technical and non-technical), and enforces project standards.
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Acts as a cross-departmental advocate who is embedded in the project.
Consults with key stakeholders, business partners, management, vendors, IT and other subject matter experts to assess needs and system requirements.

Job Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large-scale projects.
Strong leadership skills with ability to develop staff through coaching, training, and support (proven ability preferred).
Solid knowledge of an enterprise project tracking system for tracking/development/reporting.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and serve as a liaison between cross-functional teams.
Strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail, exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong ability to navigate in a process-oriented environment.
Strong understanding of corporate products and business units.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to identify and understand complex problems/issues and develop appropriate action plans from multi-disciplinary perspectives.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
Education & Experience Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or education required.
3-5 years project management experience required.
Experience working with an enterprise project management system; Workfront is preferred.
Project management certification preferred.
Experience managing business process changes and/or managing projects which include technical development and delivery of technical solutions preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
