Field Service Engineer
Salary: $62,400 - $66,560
Job Description:
The primary function of this position is to, under the direction of the client Product Team Leader, to assist customers/distributors with electrical and/or mechanical issues concerning clients machines and machine systems. Support means providing new machine installations and options, machine repair, machine PM's and machine relocations as well as being an aid in training our distributors and customers with basic machine options and operations. This position will service the Grand Rapids, MI region.
Required Skills:
Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
Minimum of two years' experience in CNC controls, axis drives, spindle drives, PLC's, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, install, service and troubleshoot industrial Electro/Mechanical equipment used in the machine tool industry
Detailed orientated with a high degree of accuracy
80% travel domestic/regional
Strong mechanical and electrical experience, Fanuc/Siemens/Heidenhain controls.
