JOB
Summary:
CYLINDER HANDLER LANSING, MI 2nd Shift (2:
00 pm to 10:
30pm) Movement of high-pressure and liquid cylinders throughout the plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
o Move high-pressure and liquid cylinders throughout plant o Perform cylinder inspections per operating procedures o Assist loading/unloading cylinders on / off pallets and on /off tractor trailers o Drive forklift o Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
o High School Diploma or GED o Minimum of 1 year previous work experience in a manufacturing environment o Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts up to 100 pounds o Demonstrates through previous work experience the ability and willingness to cross train in other areas of the plant o Must be detail oriented with good writing skills to complete handwritten compliance documentation accurately and neatly o Prior forklift certification TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
o Must have reliable, appropriate transportation.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
o Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) COMMUNICATION and/or CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS:
o Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
o Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals using the English language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
o Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
o Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent's.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
o Prior forklift operations experience.
PHYSICAL ABILITY o While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, and bend, use hands and arms, handle and smell leaking gas from cylinder tanks.
o The associate is required to climb or balance.
o The associate must regularly lift and move more than 60 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
o Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distant and color vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
o The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
o Ability to stand/walk on concrete for an extended period of time o Flexibility to work overtime as required WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
