International Manufacture of Plastic Blow Mold equipment is searching for Field Service Technicians. These are Direct Hire positions due to growth. Summary: Responsible for technical service and customer support for blow molding machinery, including repair and maintenance on equipment and training of the customer by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for the start-up and commissioning of blow molding equipment.
Receives and initiates customer calls by phone and provides electrical/electronic problem solving techniques.
Reviews mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to identify malfunction.
Inspects components for proper function.
Adjusts parts and devices and control instruments using various hand tooling and instruments.
Repairs or replaces failed components. Installs special functional and structural parts on blow molding equipment.
Provides service as required to insure that blow molding equipment is meeting requirements as specified manufacturer.
Provides training to customers, employees, and other pertaining to machine operation, safety, and minor repair.
Assists Production or Application as required.
Assists Engineering, as needed as a project assistant.
Troubleshooting regarding problems, projects, and analyzes customer's requirements to determine extent of service needed.
Performs diagnostics in hydraulic and mechanical areas.
Completes field service report outlining work performed, furnishing management and customer with copies.
Assists customer with analysis of or rebuilds upgrades of existing blow molding equipment.
Travels to USA and international locations sixty to seventy percent (60-70%) of the time to service, train, and supply technical support.
Supports products and services to insure customer satisfaction.
Performs field modifications, rebuilds upgrades, and existing blow molding equipment

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:

Minimum Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two (2) year college or technical school; or ideally, a technical degree in a relevant field from a four (4) year college.

Minimum two (2) to seven (7) years' experience in set-up, operation and servicing of blow molding machines, or minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years related experience with blow molding machines in general.

Superior skills in processing and troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
