Job Description
This position is for Project Manager Level 3/ Business Analyst for up to 1984 hours to provide high level requirements gathering services and project management services.
The overall project goal is to create capabilities to improve the ability to manage information about facilities that house children in the juvenile justice system and to provide needed reporting capabilities about children in the system at large.
The work requires the scheduling and tracking of project tasks, and completing the required project deliverables. Project manager responsibilities would include:
Working with the Department of Human Services, counties, and other local agencies to gather requirements for the juvenile justice facilities management
Provide a detail analysis of needs for that system and overlaps with existing systems (especially MISACWIS)
Scope out what remaining capabilities then are needed in the core juvenile justice facilities application.
Propose procurement alternatives: RFP or inter-state license agreement to use an existing application in production in another state that meets the minimum SOM requirements.
Provide SOM project management services for the inter-agency efforts under the Juvenile Justice Vision 20/20 grant activities which seek to improve data collection in other parts (e.g., non-DHS) of the juvenile justice system
Working with the Department of Human Services, other state agencies, counties, and other local agencies to gather requirements for the juvenile justice reporting and analytics needs
Provide SOM project management services for juvenile justice data unification efforts needed to pull information together across various state and local agencies to report on children in the juvenile justice system

years experience in project management utilizing a formal project management methodology, including experience in project planning, scheduling, tracking, issue management, risk management, change management, and status reporting.
