This position functions as the staff specialist with responsibility and oversight for Workforce Development program research, data and statistical analysis, and data management of the State of Michigan's Workforce Longitudinal Data System (WLDS).
This position oversees Workforce Development program data requests by legislators, LEO Executive Leadership, LEO Workforce Development policy units, and other stakeholders.
Duties include the development of reports and dashboards, and the ongoing study and analysis of Workforce Development programs, including the ongoing study of Return on Investments for Workforce Development programs.
This position has responsibility and oversight of the Statistical Adjustment Model for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I (Adult, Dislocated Worker and Youth programs) and Title III (Employment Services/Wagner-Peyser program), used for program performance negotiations and the assessment of state performance in accordance with WIOA performance accountability provisions.
This position serves as the State Wage Interchange System (SWIS) State of Michigan Performance Accountability and Customer Information Agencies (PACIA) Access point of contact for Workforce Development.
This position manages the continuation and expansion of data sharing within the WLDS and oversees and manages the ongoing execution of WLDS by partnering with the Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI), Department of State (DOS), Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) Center for Data Analysis (MCDA), Department of Education (MDE), Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA), and Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).

Vacation and Sick Leave:
Eligible full-time employees receive between 15 and 35 personal days and 13 sick days per year that may be rolled over to the following year if not used.
Eligible employees also receive an additional day each year for community service or school functions.
Paid Parental Leave:
Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leave immediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
Paid Holidays:
Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year's Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr.
Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.
Bonus Programs:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
