Hobbs+Black is a nationally recognized architecture and design firm founded in 1965.
As a full-service firm we provide complete architectural and design service from study to construction administration.
This position will be exposed to a broad range of architectural projects from planning and design inception through construction completion in both new construction, renovation, and adaptive re-use.
Project Manager - Architect Responsibilities Manage projects on all levels from planning and design conception through construction Prepare complex architectural construction drawings for new construction, renovation, and adaptive reuse projects Design technical construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit Develop technical solutions for assigned projects Supervise fieldwork, documentation, research and drafting tasks of architectural project data Manage site planning and zoning research Lead shop drawing review, team, and project meetings Manage the preparation of bid packages Oversee and maintain project schedules, cost projections, and budget estimates Effectively communicate and coordinate with project team, consultants, and clients Effective leadership and management of support team Reports to the studio leader and/or principal in charge of assigned project Project Manager - Architect Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture 8
years of work experience in an architectural practice Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit Technical ability to develop, coordinate, and review construction documentation for design solutions Excellent technical problem solving skills Effective communication skills Architectural license preferred or equivalent experience Our purpose is to create spaces that enhance the community and environment in which we all live.
