Work is remote with preference for location in Lansing,MI.

Responsibilities:
Manage the agriculture and marine film recycling program.
Provide accounting and booking support.
Evaluate, monitor, contribute to, and enhanceMRC's social media presence - FB, TikTok, LinkedIn, Insta, engaging the public with text and graphics created in Canva.
Manage and maintain database, records, and information confidentially.
Support monitoring and maintenance of organizational website(s) and digital communications.
Maintain a calendar to coordinate work flow and meetings.
Answer phones, provide information, and transfer unanswered questions to appropriate staff/board members.
Interact professionally with Board, members, contractors, staff, clients, vendors and visitors.
Develop, coordinate, and maintain digital and physical records, documents, and reports.
Make arrangements for committees, Board, or other meetings, take notes, and provide meeting summaries.
Support development of the MRC, its mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Program Manager.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to self-manage with good written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
Create, modify, and manage documents through Google Workspace, Canva, and other web-based applications.
Understanding of bookkeeping, database management, and social media preferred.
Knowledge of principles and practices of nonprofit organizations, planning, records management, note taking, and administration.
Knowledge of and interest in recycling/composting industries helpful Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in environmental field, communications, or relevant field of study.
Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management and organization.
Knowledge of Google Workspace Ability to work well independently or as part of a team.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
