This position is an integral member of the Office of Communications, within the Mapping and Media Services Section.
This position completes a variety of professional assignments involving media production activities in order to keep the public informed of MDOT activities and messages.
This position coordinates, captures, edits and distributes visual content to support MDOT social and traditional media efforts and supports visual needs of MDOT's region and central offices for internal and external communications.
This position takes and manipulates video and digital photographs for activities including construction, planning, design, public information, exhibits, portraiture and other activities as assigned.
Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring compliance with Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act for digital media published to the public for MDOT.
This position utilizes a variety of specialized digital media production software and equipment to complete production requirements.

Media Production Specialist 10 One year of professional experience in directing, producing and writing media related programs equivalent to a Media Production Specialist 9 Media Production Specialist P11 Two years of professional experience in directing, producing and writing media related programs.
Additional Requirements and Information Valid driver's license Submit attachments and/or links to samples of your work or resume reel.
