Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of Eaton County Counseling Center Supervisor for the Adult Mental Health Services (AMHS) Department, serves as a professional performing a wide range of direct and indirect mental health services to consumers with a chronic mental illness or co-occurring disorders.
Consumers may have multiple medical issues and may need assistance in addressing these needs.
Provides case management services; crisis intervention; mental health services; referral and linkage to various other CMHA-CEI programs and/or services in the community; outreach services to consumers with multiple needs; and facilitation of group activities.
Responsible for detailed case documentation.
Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI's mission, policies and procedures.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or other related field required.
Licensed Bachelor's Social Worker (LBSW), or a related field degree licensure in the State of Michigan is highly preferred.
A minimum of one year of professional experience with adults with primary diagnoses of a serious and persistent mental illness and/or co-occurring disorder is required.
On a case-by-case basis, may assess and consider an applicant with two years of paraprofessional work experience with adults with primary diagnoses of a serious and persistent mental illness and/or co-occurring disorder.
Must be able to operate a computer and have the ability to gain proficiency in CMHA-CEI's computer systems.
Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally is required.
Possession of a valid Michigan driver's license and access to reliable transportation for job related use is required.
Conditional Employment Requirements:
Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of:
Michigan State Police clearance check, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, verification of an acceptable Michigan driving record, educational background check and verification of an acceptable work history.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Salary/Hours:
$47,593 - $54,114 annually.
40 hours per week.
Location:
Adult Mental Health Services/Eaton County Counseling Center, Charlotte, MI.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
