Competitive Starting wage! Restorative Practice Facilitator The Restorative Practice Facilitators (RPF), will work to support the process by which students and teachers develop skills to repair harm in relationships and build a stronger sense of community within the school.
The RPF will work in an in-person environment to build and deepen a positive school climate and culture.
The Restorative Practice Facilitators are responsible for developing and implementing proactive and responsive restorative practices in order to foster a safe, supportive, and positive school culture.
In addition, this person will utilize systems that create a strong school culture and remove barriers for an optimal learning experience for all students.
As a Restorative Practice Facilitator, you will ensure alignment with the organizations mission and vision, while supporting students and the school community in reflecting peaceful conflict resolution.

Responsibilities:
Work with students to address conflicts, and promote positive problem-solving skills Bring awareness about the restorative justice (RJ) program to students, and staff at all levels Maintain case documentation On-going training and support are provided Exhibit good listening skills especially when conflict or discipline issues arise and problem solve professionally Maintain confidentiality Promote problem solving among the students attempting to minimize conflict, with gentle but firm guidelines and positive guidance Hours are during the school day, typically 8:
30am -2:
30 pm.
Various positions are available.
Work 3-4 days a week or up to 5 days per week.
Skill Requirements:
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Teamwork skills Ability to take on new roles and help in varied ways Exhibit positive, warm social skills interacting with children, parents, guardians, and other program staff/ school staff.
Ability to work with computer systems such as Word Doc, Google Drive, and Excel Microsoft office software.
