Departmental Analyst 12 - Great Lakes Stewardship Coordinator

Job DescriptionThis position serves as the recognized resource and statewide coordinator of the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), Office of the Great Lakes' (OGL) Great Lakes education and outreach efforts to foster Great Lakes literacy and stewardship of freshwater resources.
The position provides guidance, strategic direction, and advice to the immediate supervisor, Deputy Director, and staff on policies, programs, and projects to foster Great Lakes literacy and stewardship and water governance.
This position serves as a project manager responsible for collaborating with internal and external partners to develop and implement Great Lakes education and public outreach projects and initiatives on water stewardship, including program development and coordination of the From Students to Stewards Initiative, a statewide initiative to integrate Great Lakes literacy using place, problem, and project-based approaches into K-12 curricula.
This position is also responsible for providing direction and coordinating implementation of the OGL communication, outreach, and community engagement functions and producing Michigan's annual State of the Great Lakes Report to assure delivery of effective communications and outreach on Great Lakes issues to EGLE's Executive Office, EGLE divisions, other state agencies, state and federal policymakers, the Michigan Legislature, resource managers, and Michigan citizens.
This position shares expertise, provides leadership, and is a recognized resource to EGLE, other state and federal agencies, regional bodies, academia, the private sector, local units of government, and the general public on aspects of the OGL programs that involve policies, programs, and projects addressing the long-term sustainability and stewardship of Great Lakes and freshwater resourcesPosition DescriptionRequired Education and ExperienceEducationPossession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
ExperienceThree years of professionalexperience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
