Seeking experienced (MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE EMPLOYED OR WITH LEGAL BUSINESS as an apartment painter that is VISIBLE ON YOUR RESUME) production (we move quickly) painters with good attitude, experience leading a crew, and willing to jump in and assist with our company's rapid growth.
We have solid workflow through the winter months but we have gained this by committing to work in Grand Rapids, Owosso, and Ann Arbor areas.
We have two shared company vehicles which would be used for travel the majority of the time.
Occasionally travel in own vehicle will be required.
Pay depends on level of experience in apartments and ability to lead/train/grow.
Apartments painting experience is a huge bonus.
Must be able to cut freehand, roll for hours with 18in rollers, and be able to provide exemplary customer service.
Pay is based on efficiency, experience, and production.
The right candidate will crew lead within 1 month which pays commission pay vs hourly.
We pay a base hourly or commission, whichever is higher.
Our leads average $20- $35 an hour (pay is based on production of work- if you have ever wanted a job where you get paid based on the work you do, this would be it).
The work is not just painting but leading and growing our team through leading by example, training/leading/motivating new team members, and adapting to our rapid growth as it comes.
Must have a working cell phone, reliable vehicle to get to work sites which vary daily.
