2018, 2019 & 2020 TOP WORKPLACE-Detroit Free Press We are looking for a qualified Maintenance Technician who is comfortable traveling to our various restaurant locations as needed.
Key Job Duties:
Maintenance and repair of all cooking and refrigeration appliances, HVAC and minor building repairs that include:
carpentry, electrical, plumbing, floor tiles, and more Complete work orders as assigned according to priority Inspect building and equipment upon arrival at each location for an issues that need to be addressed Maintain inventory of parts, tools, equipment, and other items necessary to perform routine repairs and maintenance Ensure that buildings and equipment are maintained in a safe manner and that all repairs are completed according to manufacturers specifications Comply with company policies on safety at all times while working efficiently to protect self, co-workers, and guests Keep Director of Facilities up to date on any delays in work completion
Experience:
Restaurant Building Maintenance (3 years preferred) Extensive Knowledge and experience with HVAC repair Detailed Knowledge of commercial refrigeration of various sizes Basic Knowledge of electrical circuitry and wiring Basic Knowledge of plumbing Physical Demand:
Walking and standing for long periods of time Reaching, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting Lifting and carrying up to 100 lbs Climbing ladder to significant height Working in extreme weather conditions Travel Requirements:
100% of this position is based on travel to our different restaurant locations with the state.
Please note that a valid Driver's License with clean driving record is required.
