6K - $83K a year We are seeking a Finance Analyst who will report to the Team Lead - Finance Shared Service Center.
This role is tasked with leading some of the local finance processes for the Manitou pontoon manufacturing site located in Lansing, Michigan.
The new hire will significantly contribute to the rapid expansion of the Marine Group by acting as the owner of local processes which includes the scope of the North America Finance Shared Service Center, by performing tasks with rigor and on time and by reporting high quality results to the head office.
Quality performance in this role is critical for ensuring that BRP's financial goals are met.

- Perform the financial analysis of accounts under your responsibilities such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, intercompany accounts and bank reconciliations and establish the forecast and budget for these accounts - Create and enter journal entries into the system for accounts under your responsibility - Lead the cash forecast process by estimating, in collaboration with the business, incoming inflows and outflows - Assist the project team in charge of the transfer of the accounts payable activities to another group and ensure a good monitoring of the accounts payable activities - Ensure proper sales taxes are recorded on transactions and ensure returns to the authorities are complete and accurate.
Prepare property tax returns and submit them on time - Proceed to the check deposit, reconcile credit card transactions and prepare payment - Extract financial information from the system in order to submit reporting to peers and Corporate Office - Ensure timely maintenance of the master data in the system - Maintain a solid control environment by performing controls over accounting transactions (account analysis, journal entries, master data maintenance, etc.
) YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Required:
- Associates degree in Finance or Accounting - A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance - Advanced proficiency in Excel Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting - Proficient in CSI Infor - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities - Ability to work well independently and with a sense of initiative in order to identify business needs and become an influential team member - Strong attention to detail Of note:
This role has a hybrid work schedule.
The new hire will need to work in the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
