Maintenance functions may be in the fields of building, carpentry, electric, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
The Maintenance Specialist strives to create a safe and inviting atmosphere within the college's facilities to support and enhance student success.
Job Responsibilities Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Perform minor electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, including changing filters, belts, grease motors, and program thermostats.
Respond to and assist with emergency repairs and requests.
Assist with minor repairs and renovations of building, fixtures, and furniture.
Assist with lawn and shrubbery care around campus and with general campus preservation, including collection of refuse.
Assist with moving and set-up duties as assigned (i.
e.
equipment/furniture for campus events).
Perform other duties as assigned.
