Cisco seeks a Systems Engineer with a strong network (routing and switching foundation) and application or software experience.
This SE will partner with our Partner Account Managers in a technical/business role, showcasing Cisco architectures to assist growing the partner business.
Qualified candidates should bring industry knowledge and years of technology experience to aid in technical selling, explaining features and benefits to partners as well as assisting Partners in building out their practices.

Job Description
Cisco seeks a Systems Engineer with a strong network background to partner with our Partner Account Managers in a partner facing technical role, showcasing Cisco product solutions-setting up demonstrations and explaining features and benefits to the partners.
Heshe will gain access to the broad palette of Cisco technologies and applications in a variety of vertical markets.
In additional to technological aptitude and the ability to learn quickly and stay current, the ideal candidate's interpersonal, presentation and troubleshooting skills evoke passion and confidence.
Direct partner responsibilities for selected accounts in an assigned geography.
Staying up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services is essential.
Candidate will focus on technical and business presentations for pre and post sales resources.
Other activities include participation as a specialist on assigned Virtual Team and providing consultative support in their area of specialization to other Systems Engineers.

years of networkingtelecommunications industry related experience is required.
Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area is also preferred.
Pre-Sales experience required.
Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.
CCNP CCDP or similar vendor Certification recommended.
Strong understanding of server and desktop virtualization is also highly desirable.
Service Provider skills a plus.
