We are seeking an experienced individual to join a very exciting, Fortune 500 American defense company that provides scientific, engineering, systems integration, and technical services and solutions. The client employs tens of thousands of employees globally spanning multiple industries.
Work Authorization:
Successful applicants will be required to provide documents/credentials that will allow them to work legally in the U.S.
Candidates must be eligible for an Active Secret Clearance to be considered for this position.
Job
Summary:
The Help Desk Technician should ensure that professional support and response standards are met and maintained.
Develop a thorough understanding of client's applicable hardware/software configurations.
Responsibilities
System backup/recovery, basis software management, security management, help desk management software, and library management.
Successfully resolve moderate to more difficult technical issues (related to hardware and software) from incoming customer contacts and proactive notification systems.
Serve as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting hardware, software, PC, and printer problems.
Requirements
US Citizen and Security+
Knowledge of Personal Computer and network operation.
Experience in use of Help Desk management software.
Possess the ability to evaluate system problems and provide resolutions.
Be able to participate as subject matter expert in long and short range terminology planning.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of technology users.
Demonstrate a high level of customer relationship skills.
Education:
High school education or equivalent and 3
years of total work experience with at least 1 year customer service experience.
Bachelors degree in related field accepted in lieu of experience.
At least 1 year business/personal experience with Windows 7.
Compensation:
W2 Preferred
